In the series Touring Argentina, Editorial Bifronte bring to us Cordoba, which lies at the crossroads of the ancient and modern roads of Argentina where Ron Lovelace, a North American photographer who is enamored of Argentina, visited the central province of Cordoba. He took photographs of the city which was an important cultural, commercial and political center in the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries. Those buildings which survived the Viceroyalty, museums, streets and churches of the epoch stand in the middle of a modern, progressive city, the second largest in the country, all seen to advantage. There are too, mountain scenery, dams - there are many in the region - buildings the Jesuits erected in the XVIIth century and which today are still performing their original purposes. Tourist areas where Tyrolean and central European houses offer excellent hotels, similarly good food and many opportunities for adventure tourism, water sports and camping by the many rivers and lakes. The photographs and the text make up a portable packet of all one saw on one's tour.
